ESC volunteering at an ecovillage in Denmark!

We are looking for participants for long-term ESC volunteering at an ecovillage in Denmark!

Are interested in being part of a growing and ambitious network? Curious about the ecovillage lifestyle? Then this might be something for you – LOES is looking for long-term volunteers! The main goal of the project is to fully experience the unique lifestyle of an ecovillage in Denmark, participating in community activities and sustainable living practices.

🌍 Where: Hallingelille, Denmark, around 50 minutes outside of Copenhagen

📆 Duration: from September 2024 – 28 February 2025

🔥 Deadline: ASAP (we review applications on an ongoing basis)

💶 Financial support: All costs are covered by the ESC program (transport, accommodation, food allowance, insurance, and pocket money).

📍Host Organization: LØS (Danish Ecovillage Network) (website, Facebook, Instagram)

📍LØS can invite three long-term volunteers to work with us through the European Solidarity Corps.

We expect suitable candidates to:

– have a basic understanding of and interest in sustainability, as the program emphasizes eco-friendly practices and community living in harmony with nature;

– be ready to help with tasks such as cooking common dinner, gardening, and organizing activities in a nearby asylum center;

– desire to engage in project work, educational activities, and member engagement/communication;

– have basic knowledge of English.

Participant profile:

– we welcome all genders

– max. 30 years of age

– preferably someone who lives within the EU;

– preferably someone with a driver’s license;
