๐ About the Project
Are you passionate about environment, tradition, and sustainability?
Join Green, Slow and Soulful โ a unique ESC volunteering project that combines eco-friendly living, cultural heritage revival, and creative recycling in rural Hungary!
Volunteers will explore the intersection of ecology, art, and social enterprise while living close to nature and contributing to meaningful community initiatives.
Through hands-on learning, youโll help renovate a 100-year-old cultural heritage house using traditional adobe techniques, promote creative recycling, and support sustainable entrepreneurship projects.
๐ฑ Main Activities
๐ก Revival of Traditions โ Help renovate a historic peasant house using traditional adobe techniques and rediscover local heritage.
โป๏ธ Creative Recycling โ Learn and teach upcycling techniques, giving old materials new life through creative reuse.
๐ผ Social Entrepreneurship โ Gain insights into social enterprise management, from idea development to product marketing.
๐ฃ Project Coordination โ Assist in organizing and implementing Erasmus+ and volunteer team projects, supporting communication and logistics.
๐ก Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐ Volunteers will live in Pรฉcs, a beautiful city near the project site, in a shared 3-room apartment close to the city center.
๐ฝ Food and pocket money will be provided according to ESC standards.
โ๏ธ Travel costs to and from Hungary are reimbursed up to the official limit defined by the program.
๐ Training & Learning Opportunities
๐ฏ Volunteers will participate in ESC On-Arrival and Mid-Term Trainings provided by the Hungarian National Agency.
๐ฌ Hungarian language support and intercultural learning sessions will be included.
๐ฟ Skills gained: team cooperation, eco-building, recycling, entrepreneurship, and event organization.

Weโre looking for open-minded, creative, and curious young people (18โ30 years old) who are:

Ready to learn and adapt to new cultures and lifestyles

Motivated to work with others and engage in rural community life

Basic English knowledge is sufficient โ enthusiasm matters more than experience!
