Supported by the German National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme, this training course brings together changemakers from across Europe to explore media literacy, human rights, and peacebuilding.
๐ About the Project
In a world full of digital noise and disinformation, Critical Lens empowers youth workers and peace advocates to separate fact from fiction โ and build balanced, human-rights-based narratives.
This 6-day international training aims to equip youth workers, educators, and young leaders with tools to challenge disinformation and media bias โ especially around migration โ and to promote inclusive, non-violent, and factual communication.
Youโll learn how to:
๐ง Strengthen your critical thinking and media literacy skills
๐ฐ Identify and counteract fake news, stereotypes, and hate speech
๐ค Promote human rights and social cohesion through media
๐ข Use inclusive and non-violent language in public dialogue
๐๏ธ Design follow-up actions to spread peace and factual awareness in your community
This training goes beyond analysis โ itโs a call to action for changemakers who want to create informed, empathetic societies.

๐ฏ Project Aim
To empower youth workers to become media-literate human rights advocates, capable of tackling disinformation, promoting peace, and fostering constructive public discourse on migration and diversity.
๐ Objectives

Enhance participantsโ skills in evaluating and interpreting media critically.

Equip them to recognize and counteract misinformation, bias, and hate speech.
โ
Strengthen understanding of peacebuilding, conflict, and human rights.
โ
Promote inclusive, factual, and non-violent communication.
โ
Inspire at least five follow-up actions across partner countries to multiply impact.

No prior experience is required โ just motivation, curiosity, and a desire to make a positive impact.
๐ก Accommodation & Travel
Participants will stay in shared rooms at a training venue near Munich.
All costs for accommodation, meals, and travel (within Erasmus+ distance limits) will be fully covered.
Visa costs will be reimbursed as well.

The training is based on non-formal education, focusing on:
