Supported by the German National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme, this training course brings together changemakers from across Europe to explore media literacy, human rights, and peacebuilding.

🌍 About the Project

In a world full of digital noise and disinformation, Critical Lens empowers youth workers and peace advocates to separate fact from fiction — and build balanced, human-rights-based narratives.

This 6-day international training aims to equip youth workers, educators, and young leaders with tools to challenge disinformation and media bias — especially around migration — and to promote inclusive, non-violent, and factual communication.

You’ll learn how to:
🧠 Strengthen your critical thinking and media literacy skills
📰 Identify and counteract fake news, stereotypes, and hate speech
🤝 Promote human rights and social cohesion through media
📢 Use inclusive and non-violent language in public dialogue
🕊️ Design follow-up actions to spread peace and factual awareness in your community

This training goes beyond analysis — it’s a call to action for changemakers who want to create informed, empathetic societies.

🎯 Project Aim

To empower youth workers to become media-literate human rights advocates, capable of tackling disinformation, promoting peace, and fostering constructive public discourse on migration and diversity.

🎓 Objectives

✅ Enhance participants’ skills in evaluating and interpreting media critically.
✅ Equip them to recognize and counteract misinformation, bias, and hate speech.
✅ Strengthen understanding of peacebuilding, conflict, and human rights.
✅ Promote inclusive, factual, and non-violent communication.
✅ Inspire at least five follow-up actions across partner countries to multiply impact.

💶 Participation cost: Fully funded under Erasmus+ (travel, accommodation, food, and visa costs reimbursed)

🌍 Who Can Apply?

Participants must be 18+ and residing in one of the partner countries:

We’re looking for:
✨ Youth workers, trainers, activists, and educators
🕊️ People active in human rights, peacebuilding, or migration topics
🎙️ Journalists, youth coaches, mentors, or communication professionals
💡 Anyone passionate about fighting disinformation and promoting peace

No prior experience is required — just motivation, curiosity, and a desire to make a positive impact.

🏡 Accommodation & Travel

Participants will stay in shared rooms at a training venue near Munich.
All costs for accommodation, meals, and travel (within Erasmus+ distance limits) will be fully covered.
Visa costs will be reimbursed as well.

🤝 Commitment

✅ Attend all 6 training days (full participation is required)
✅ Join the follow-up phase, implementing a small local or cross-border activity after the training

The training is based on non-formal education, focusing on:
