🌟 About the Project

“Youth for Diversity and Inclusion” is a vibrant volunteering opportunity that brings young people together to promote tolerance, inclusion, and human rights.

The project’s mission is to create an inclusive and respectful community that stands against bullying, discrimination, and hate speech. Volunteers will actively contribute to community-building activities and help shape the new youth space “Horizons”, supporting equality and cultural understanding in Târgoviște.

🎯 Your Role & Main Tasks

• 💬 Support educational and thematic activities promoting diversity and tolerance
• 🌱 Engage in community greening and maintenance of the youth space “Horizons”
• 🎨 Help design creative workshops, materials, and social initiatives
• 🧠 Assist facilitators in non-formal learning sessions for young people
• 🌍 Encourage mutual respect and cooperation within the local community

👥 Participant Profile

We are looking for enthusiastic young people who are:

• 💛 Open-minded, sociable, and proactive
• 🌍 Interested in community development and inclusion
• 💬 Comfortable communicating in English (B2 level)
• 🇷🇴 Willing to learn the Romanian language
• 🧩 Motivated to grow personally and professionally in a small-town environment

This project gives priority to volunteers facing socio-economic, cultural, or geographical obstacles, offering them an empowering experience through solidarity and teamwork.

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Support

• 🏠 Shared rooms in fully equipped flats with access to a kitchen and Wi-Fi
• 💰 Monthly pocket money (120€) + food allowance (150€)
• 🚆 Travel costs reimbursed according to ESC rules
• 🎓 Mentorship and ongoing support from the hosting team
