Join us in making a difference! The Portuguese Red Cross – Cucujães Branch is seeking passionate volunteers to support various humanitarian initiatives. From aiding the vulnerable with food, clothing, and toys, to organizing engaging activities for the elderly, individuals in recovery, and those with disabilities, this project offers a fulfilling experience for all. Dive into diverse tasks, from working with children in schools to assisting Pilgrims on their journey to Santiago de Compostela!
🏠 Accommodation, Food, and Transport:
Volunteers will stay in a shared apartment near the organization’s headquarters, receiving a daily pocket money of 6€, a food allowance for home-cooked meals, free health insurance, and reimbursement for travel expenses.
🎓 Training Opportunities:
Benefit from On-Arrival and Mid-Term Trainings by the Portuguese National Agency, along with access to online Portuguese language courses. Engage in Red Cross Trainings to deepen your understanding of humanitarian work.
👫 Participant Profile:
We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals aged 18-30 who are eager to embark on a volunteering journey in Portugal. If you’re open-minded, practical, value diversity, and enjoy working in an international team, this opportunity is for you!

30-week volunteering period from 26/08/2024 to 28/03/2025.
