🌍 About the project
The “Building Together” ESC project offers a meaningful opportunity to support unaccompanied minors living in semi-independent living apartments (SIL). Volunteers will help these children integrate into society through language lessons, creative workshops, mentoring, and community activities. The project strengthens social and individual skills, boosts self-confidence, and fosters social inclusion for vulnerable youth.
🏡 Accommodation, food, transport
- Fully equipped shared apartment in Thessaloniki
- Monthly support: €210 pocket money + €150 food allowance
- Unlimited travel card for local public transport (bus + metro)
- Safe and accessible housing close to transport links
🎯 Participant profile
- Young people aged 18–30 from Bulgaria, Türkiye, North Macedonia, or Spain
- Background or interest in: education, psychosocial support, humanitarian work, or youth support
- Experience in voluntary/non-formal education is a plus
- Essential skills: empathy, teamwork, motivation to support vulnerable youth
