✨ About the Project

Hosted by Jeunes à Travers le Monde and CA Fougères Agglomération, this ESC project revolves around the creation of a collaborative Digital FabLab – a free and open space where technology, creativity, and community come together.

As a volunteer, you’ll:

• 🛠️ Learn the basics of digital fabrication & FabLab machine use
• 👩‍🏫 Guide visitors and help them realize their creative projects
• 🎨 Propose and run creative workshops
• 🔧 Assist with machine maintenance
• 🤝 Collaborate with local businesses on digital projects
• 🌍 Share your culture with the community through intercultural activities
• 👥 Join a collective project with other ESC volunteers

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport

• Private room & bathroom in a youth house in Fougères
• Kitchen (private or shared depending on availability)
• Sheets, blankets, and pillows provided (bring your own towels)
• Pocket money + food allowance provided monthly
• Travel expenses reimbursed according to ESC rules

🎓 Training & Support

• On-arrival training & mid-term evaluation by the French National Agency
• Participation in a regional seminar with ESC volunteers across Brittany
• Continuous mentoring and support from hosting staff

👤 Volunteer Profile

We are looking for motivated and creative young people who:
✔️ Are eager to communicate, exchange, and learn
✔️ Can take initiative, propose workshops, and engage with the community
✔️ Have basic French knowledge (a plus, not mandatory)
✔️ Are open to teamwork and intercultural exchange
