📝 Project Description

This ESC volunteering teams project invites 10 young people to join the magical Advent Trail in Novo Mesto. Volunteers will:
✨ Prepare the live Advent route along the Krka river and bridges
✨ Act as cheerful elves and interact with visitors
✨ Create costumes, decorations, and props
✨ Support cultural activities and the Oton Youth Center during the Advent season
✨ Help organize guided walks, workshops, and festive community events

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Travel

🏨 Accommodation: Hostel Situla (shared rooms)
🍽️ Meals: Pocket money + food allowance provided under ESC rules
🚍 Travel: Reimbursed after the volunteering period (up to limits set by the National Agency)
🛡️ Insurance: Covered by ESC (EHIC required)

🎯 Participant Profile

We are looking for motivated volunteers aged 18–30 who:

• Are enthusiastic about creativity, youth work, and community engagement
• Enjoy working with children, young people, and diverse groups
• Speak basic English and are open to intercultural teamwork
• Are flexible, curious, and excited about contributing to a unique winter celebration

🙌 Volunteers will be guided by experienced mentors.
📚 Non-formal learning & teamwork are at the core.
🎄 By the end, you’ll have gained hands-on experience in event organization, cultural animation, and community engagement.
