About Centro IRDA: Be a part of Centro IRDA, a vibrant youth center in Milan dedicated to supporting children and youngsters. Engage in afterschool activities, workshops, and community involvement.
🤝 Your Role:
- Assist children and teens with homework.
- Support workshops in music, radio, sports, and art.
- Collaborate in organizing sports activities.
- Develop ideas to engage the local community.
- Share European opportunities and your volunteer experience.
- Aid in social media communication and blog posts.
- Capture activities through photos and videos.
- Accompany children on summer trips and holidays.
🏡 Accommodation and Support:
- Shared flat in Milan with double rooms.
- Monthly pocket money and food expenses covered.
- Public transport subscription provided.
- Travel expenses reimbursed per European Commission guidelines.
🎓 Training:
- On Arrival Training and Mid-Term Evaluation organized by the Italian National Agency.
- Additional training by the coordinating organization.
👤 Participant Profile:
- 1 MALE volunteer needed.
- Available from February 2024 to August 2024.
- Motivated to learn Italian and communicate with locals.
- Passion for working with children and young people.
- Skills in arts, sports, and team collaboration.
