๐งช Responsibilities / tasks
Volunteers will play a vital role in welcoming students back to school through creative and social activities. Tasks include:
โ Supporting the โWelcome and Empathy Weekโ by leading team-building and group bonding games for students to start the academic year with positive energy
โ Planning and facilitating engaging workshops based on personal interests and talents โ such as music sessions, arts and crafts, storytelling, language exchanges, environmental awareness, or basic digital skills
โ Assisting teachers and school staff in creating a friendly, inclusive, and motivating school environment
โ Proposing and implementing small creative projects that enhance the visual and social atmosphere of the school (murals, decorations, interactive boards, etc.)
โ Collaborating with local partner organizations like H2Ave, Humanitave, and the senior center to foster intergenerational learning and strengthen community ties

โ Volunteers will receive a daily allowance of approximately 10โฌ to cover both pocket money and food, paid at the beginning of the activity
โ Breakfast and lunch provided on weekdays at the school canteen
โ Accommodation in a fully equipped house near the school: 4 shared double rooms and a sofa bed, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living room
โ Volunteers receive a school card for discounted snacks at the canteen
โ Public transport costs will be reimbursed according to ESC distance band rules (with original receipts)
