Dive into a 3–6 month, full-time hands-on role at Overwatch, supporting the rollout of a cutting-edge smart surveillance system in Maputo, Mozambique 🇲🇿. From 1 August – 1 November 2025, you’ll bridge tech and operations, troubleshoot live deployments, and gain invaluable field experience in secure technology implementation!

🚀 What You’ll Do

  • 🖥️ System Deployment & Testing: Configure, install and rigorously test next-gen surveillance hardware and software
  • 🐞 Bug Identification: Monitor live systems, spot glitches and drive real-time fixes
  • 🤝 Team Liaison: Facilitate clear communication between engineers and operations crews
  • 📋 Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise technical docs, user feedback logs and process checklists
  • 📣 User Onboarding: Guide initial users through basic system operation and gather usage feedback

📝 Ideal Candidate

  • 🎓 Current IT/Engineering student or recent graduate (Erasmus+-eligible)
  • 💡 Passion for secure technologies & critical thinking under pressure
  • 🌐 Fluent English; Portuguese a plus for daily life in Maputo
  • ✔️ Organized, dependable and ready to thrive in a multicultural field environment
  • 🤝 Eligible to apply for Erasmus+ or similar international funding
