Step into the heart of Bergolo’s timeless hills 🇮🇹 and become a guardian of cultural landscapes with New Wellness Education – APS. From 25 August – 23 September 2025, our Eyes Wide Open team invites 10 intercultural volunteers to reconnect with nature, master guerrilla filmmaking, and champion heritage conservation! 🌿🎬
🏞️ Project Overview
- 🌾 Cultural Landscape Preservation: Help protect and promote Bergolo’s rural beauty through mapping, documentation & storytelling.
- 🎥 Visual-Media Training: Learn guerrilla filmmaking—from identifying historic sites to filming with phones & non-professional gear.
- 🗂️ Digital Archiving: Catalog sites, update our database and enrich the association’s website with fresh content.
🍽️ Accommodation & Living
- 🐝 Stay at Alveare Hostel “The Hive”—cook together in the communal kitchen and share meals as a team.
- 🚗 All transport, food & lodging covered by EU funds.
🎓 Training & Skills
- 🎞️ Guerrilla Filmmaking Workshops: Shoot, edit & produce compelling visual stories.
- 🌱 Hands-On Heritage Work: Garden upkeep, site restoration, painting & light construction.
- 🤝 Intercultural Collaboration: Live and learn with peers from across Europe.
👥 Who Should Apply?
- 10 volunteers (18–30 y/o) from programme countries, ready for 4 weeks in rural Italy.
- Media Enthusiasts: Photographers & filmmakers to document the experience and bolster our digital outreach.
- Nature Lovers: Hands-on with gardening, cooking, cleaning & up-close heritage work.
- Resilient Spirits: Open to challenges, eager to live off the beaten path & embrace community life.
