👶 Project Focus: Join the cultural exchange initiative between the city of Dijon and Reggio Emilia, exploring innovative educational practices for early childhood. This project takes place at a multi-center in Dijon, eager to embrace Reggio Emilia’s educational approaches.
🌱 Volunteer Tasks:
- Explore early childhood education models in and around Reggio Emilia
- Share ideas for indoor and outdoor space design through photos and projects
- Contribute to the creation of outdoor spaces and shared gardens with local residents
- Establish connections with a Reggio Emilia early childhood center for exchanging best practices
- Document ideas for promoting new forms of expression and communication, emphasizing art, nature, and openness to the outside world
🏠 Support and Logistics:
- Shared furnished apartment with other volunteers near the city center
- Reduced-cost meals at the municipal staff restaurant
- Public transportation (tram-bus) with discounted fares for those under 26
- International transport covered by the city of Dijon
- Communication services: Internet access, phone
📚 Training During the Activity:
- Three-day orientation with the Alpha Léo Dijon association upon arrival
- Additional training opportunities offered by the Directorate of Early Childhood
- Collaboration with another volunteer placed in a different early childhood center, the Tarnier Multi-Center
