Seventeen Erasmus+ opportunities for youth workers are open right now across fourteen countries, closing between 20 September and 28 September 2026. At Youth Works Hub, we pulled together this week's full spread of training courses and online e-learning sessions so you can compare every option before deciding where to apply. A few stand out immediately: a festival-style training on street-based youth work in Ljubljana, an outdoor leadership course in Latvia that builds resilience through movement and reflection, and a social entrepreneurship training in Rimini for 25 participants taking their first steps into community initiatives. Anyone new to the programme should start with what Erasmus+ actually is before picking a specific course.
This batch splits into two formats: thirteen in-person Training Courses and four online E-learning sessions, the shortest route into Erasmus+ for anyone who can't travel. Themes run from mental health and mindfulness in youth work, through neuroinclusion and the responsible use of AI, to partnership-building for Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships under KA2. If you've never taken part in a Training Course before, most of these are built specifically for first-timers, with peer learning, field visits and non-formal methods replacing lectures. All are free to attend, with travel, accommodation and meals covered under the standard Erasmus+ funding rules, though a small number carry a modest participation contribution which is noted where it applies.

With seventeen options spread across fourteen countries, this is one of the widest Erasmus+ training batches Youth Works Hub has compiled this month. Twelve of the seventeen close by 24 September, so those need a decision this week; the remaining five stretch into the final days of the month, giving latecomers a slightly longer runway. The four online e-learning sessions, in Germany, Spain, Bulgaria and Romania, are worth a special look if travel isn't an option: they run the same non-formal, interactive format as the in-person courses but ask for nothing more than a laptop and an internet connection.
Country-wise, Poland, Slovenia and Bulgaria each have two courses in this batch, while the remaining eleven countries have one apiece. Whichever of these seventeen you choose, check your eligibility first, since several of these list specific residency restrictions rather than the usual open Programme Country access. If you're building your first Erasmus+ application, it's also worth reading about what youth workers actually do on these projects before you commit your dates. Apply before the deadline closes, and don't sit on the ones that catch your eye.
Looking for hands-on paid experience instead of a short course? This week Youth Works Hub also lists internships across Europe โ Internship Opportunities
