Ten new Erasmus+ opportunities are open across 10 countries, and they split neatly into two groups: professional trainings for youth workers, and youth exchanges for young people ready for an experience abroad. 🌿 The theme running through almost all of them is wellbeing, nature and creativity. Youth workers can learn burnout prevention in the Pirin mountains of Bulgaria, psychosocial support and safe spaces in Slovenia, fighting disinformation through theatre in a Norwegian fjord village, outdoor education in Hungary, or rites of passage and community in the wild of southern Italy. Young people can make upcycled art with queer youth and allies in Latvia, rethink digital wellbeing in a German forest, learn agroecology in the Ardèche, or plant real trees with drones in Transylvania. From a Nordic cooperation seminar in Iceland to a reforestation exchange in Romania, this is a warm, human set of opportunities.
The funding follows the usual Erasmus+ logic: travel and stay are covered for participants, and one French exchange states that participation, accommodation and food are fully covered by an EU grant. Six are trainings or a seminar for youth workers, educators and facilitators, and four are youth exchanges for young people. Deadlines run from 31 July to 25 August 2026.

Learn to fight disinformation and build media literacy through theatre. This hands on course trains youth workers in the Newspaper Theatre method, part of Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed, to explore human rights issues and spark critical thinking with young people. Practical games, exercises and a dedicated manual, guided by experienced facilitators, in a fjord side village in Norway. No prior theatre experience needed. 🇧🇬 Bulgaria: Burnout Prevention and Well-being for Youth Workers 🧘

Burnout is one of youth work's most under addressed challenges. This week long training gives youth workers, trainers and mentors practical, embodied tools to recognise the early signs of burnout, protect their mental and physical health, and build sustainable self care habits through non formal education, coaching, movement, group reflection and peer support. This hands on training gives youth workers the fundamentals of psychosocial support and psychological first aid, communication skills for difficult conversations, ways to create psychologically safe spaces, and mindfulness, self regulation and burnout prevention practices. Expect crisis simulations, role plays, nature based wellbeing activities and evening reflection circles around the fire, in a holistic village in Slovenia. Dive into an adventure exploring how nature and outdoor activities can become a medium for personal growth, environmental education, team building and leadership development. Over nine days in southern Hungary, you and other participants examine the theory and practice of outdoor education, drawing actively on each other's experience.
