🎨 Are you a young artist looking for an exciting opportunity to share your creativity and artistry? The Ufficio Progetto Giovani in Padova, Italy, has an urgent call for young artists to join their Youth Empowering Padova (YEP!) project focused on Art & Creativity. This is a fantastic chance to immerse yourself in the world of art and culture.
🖌️ Activity Description: As a volunteer, you’ll be part of the Creativity area of the Ufficio Progetto Giovani and collaborate with other Italian artists in a shared artist studio project (MAC Studi d’Artista). Your responsibilities will include organizing workshops and laboratories related to your own art practice for local youth and adults. Additionally, you might engage in linguistic and cultural interactive labs in Padua’s schools.
🏠 Accommodation: Volunteers will be hosted in a flat rented by the Municipality of Padova, with private bedrooms and shared common spaces. You’ll receive monthly bus-tram tickets and a bike for easy transportation around the city. Pocket money and a food allowance will be provided monthly.
📆 Duration: 39 weeks (18/09/2023 – 18/06/2024)

🎨 Participant Profile: They are looking for self-initiated, motivated, and socially engaged young artists or art-related volunteers interested in contemporary artistic research and socio-cultural processes. You should be able to work autonomously on your own research and projects, manage time and activities, and propose personal initiatives in agreement with the project staff. Intermediate Italian language skills are desirable, and you’ll need to bring your own technical equipment if required for your artistic research.
