🤝 Make a Difference in the Lives of Minors!

Diapason Cooperative, founded in 1985, is committed to supporting minors (aged 12-18) who have faced social or economic challenges. The organization focuses on solidarity, tolerance, and inclusion, providing young people with a safe space to rebuild trust and stability.

As an ESC Volunteer, you’ll work alongside educators, psychologists, and coordinators, gaining valuable experience in social work while making a real impact in young people’s lives.

💼 Your Role as a Volunteer

✔️ Support and mentor minors (12-18 years old) 💬
✔️ Assist with educational & recreational activities 🎨⚽
✔️ Help young people integrate into a safe and stable environment 🏡
✔️ Gain insights into social work & youth support services
✔️ Develop teamwork, problem-solving & communication skills 📢

📌 You will live in the shelter’s community, fully immersing yourself in its environment.

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport

✔️ Accommodation: Private room & bathroom in a shared flat within the shelter.
✔️ Meals: 3 meals per day provided by the hosting organization.
✔️ Pocket Money: €6 per day (paid monthly). 💰
✔️ Travel: Costs reimbursed according to European Commission guidelines.

🚨 Curfew at 22:00 to ensure the well-being of the residents.

👤 Who Can Apply?

✅ Requirements:
🔹 Age: 18 – 30 years old
🔹 Motivated to learn Italian & communicate effectively 🇮🇹
🔹 Interest in working with minors from diverse backgrounds 👦👧
🔹 Background in socio-pedagogy, psycho-pedagogy, social work, or related fields is a plus
🔹 Empathetic, open-minded, patient, and a great listener 🎧
🔹 Good English required; basic Italian is a plus
🔹 Comfortable living in a community setting with shelter rules & curfew
