A hospitality venture dedicated to giving guests unforgettable experiences in one of the world’s most extraordinary destinations. Grotta Northern Lights Apartment is looking for an energetic Erasmus+ intern to join their team in Iceland — handling guest relations, reservations, reviews, and more in a truly unique working environment.

🏨 About the Role

This is a hands-on, full-time internship combining office and housekeeping work in a small, dynamic hospitality business. You’ll be the main point of contact for international guests — communicating daily, managing their experience, and ensuring the property runs smoothly. All ideas are welcome and appreciated.

📋 Your Responsibilities

🗣️ Communicate with international guests daily — answering requests, giving advice, and ensuring satisfaction

🏨 Assist with reservations through various online platforms

⭐ Reply to guest reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor

📝 Collect guest feedback — ideas, comments, and complaints

✍️ Write blog posts and articles about the property and Iceland

🧹 Ensure guest rooms and common areas maintain high standards of cleanliness

📈 Upon completing daily routines, take on additional tasks in marketing or other fields of interest

✅ Requirements and Profile

🗣️ Good communication skills in English — written and verbal (fluency in other languages is a plus)

🏨 Interest and basic experience in hospitality and customer service

🗂️ Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks

💡 Independent and team-oriented — eager to contribute ideas

🎯 Sales-driven mindset and logical thinking

✍️ Creative writer with interest in blog and article writing

🌍 Available to stay for 4–12 months

⚠️ EU citizens only, or those with an active visa or active Erasmus grant
