๐ Did You Know? Niฤde is a historic city in central Anatolia surrounded by volcanic landscapes, ancient caravanserais, and underground cities. The nearby Aladaฤlar National Park is one of Tรผrkiye’s most spectacular alpine environments โ a paradise for hikers and nature lovers with peaks rising above 3,700 metres.
What Will You Do?
๐ฃ๏ธ Organise and facilitate an English Speaking Club for local young people โ and optionally run sessions in your own language too
๐ฑ Create social media content for the association’s English learning Instagram account
๐จ Design and lead your own activities in any area that interests you โ arts and culture, sustainability, work and entrepreneurship, book or film clubs, and more
๐ฑ Take part in social responsibility activities within the local community
๐ Bring a European perspective to the association’s local youth work and help connect it with wider European values and networks
โ๏ธ Contribute to activities that fight discrimination against women, youth, and people with disabilities
๐ Did You Know? Tรผrkiye has been a partner country of the European Solidarity Corps since the programme’s early years, allowing Turkish organisations to host volunteers from across Europe. This cross-cultural exchange helps bridge communities and bring fresh perspectives to local youth work in regions far from the usual ESC destinations.

๐ Aware of ESC philosophy and committed to the values of volunteering
๐ค Motivated to work with youth groups and within international teams
๐ง Strong social skills โ intercultural sensitivity, communication, teamwork, and group dynamics
๐ช Flexible, responsible, and committed to following through on tasks
โค๏ธ Good physical and psychological health profile suitable for an active volunteering role
Accommodation, Food & Travel
๐ Apartment accommodation approximately 15 minutes by bus from the office, with kitchen and bathroom facilities
๐ฝ๏ธ Food costs covered by the project
๐ Local transport covered by the project
โ๏ธ International travel costs covered in line with ESC programme rules
๐ฅ Good medical care available in Niฤde โ the association actively supports volunteers’ wellbeing

Training & Learning
๐ป Pre-departure online training provided by your sending organisation before departure
๐น๐ท On-arrival introductory training provided by the hosting organisation covering facilities, tasks, organisational matters, and crisis management
๐ Upon arrival, a formal volunteer contract is signed specifying project conditions, rights, and obligations
