What Will You Do?
๐ซAssist with teaching and educational support in local schools โ contributing to equal access to quality education for children and young people in the Asikuma community
๐ฅAssist healthcare professionals in local health facilities โ supporting the delivery of healthcare services to community members in need
๐จSupport infrastructure projects that contribute to the physical development and resilience of the community
๐ฃ๏ธProvide language aid and communication support โ helping bridge language gaps within the community and project activities
๐งFacilitate youth programmes that empower young people โ with a particular focus on girls, gender equality, mentorship, and the creation of safe spaces
๐ฌConduct research to support project planning and community development initiatives โ contributing evidence and analysis to improve programme outcomes

The ICYE (International Cultural Youth Exchange) network โ which manages this project through ICJE Ghana โ is one of the oldest international youth exchange organisations in the world, founded in 1949. It operates in over 40 countries and has placed tens of thousands of volunteers in community development roles globally. Accommodation, Food & Travel
๐ Private room provided โ just a 15-minute walk from the project site. Living alongside both local and international volunteers allows for quick and genuine integration into community life
๐ฝ๏ธMeals provided at home by the project in collaboration with ICYE Ghana โ food is fully covered throughout the placement
๐ฐMonthly pocket money of โฌ200 provided for personal expenses

Training & Learning
๐ปPre-departure training provided online before you leave โ arriving prepared and informed from day one
