10 New ESC Volunteering Opportunities โ
From Brazil to Vietnam, Poland to Ireland
Ten new European Solidarity Corps volunteering placements just went live on Youth Works Hub โ and this is one of the most geographically diverse batches we have published. Beyond Europe, this batch includes humanitarian aid placements in Brazil and Vietnam, alongside projects in Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Czechia, Ireland, France, Belgium, and Romania.
Whether you want to co-create a multicultural children’s festival in the Polish mountains, counter hate speech in Sofia, teach in a democratic school in the Czech Republic, or help coordinate climate adaptation work for vulnerable communities in Nรผrnberg โ there is something in this batch for you.
All placements are fully funded by the EU: travel, accommodation, food, insurance, and a monthly pocket allowance covered. Age 18โ30, registered on the European Youth Portal.

Human Rights Education & Youth Work โ Fight Hate Speech, Sofia, Bulgaria
Counter hate speech, run workshops in schools across Bulgaria, and work with 2,000+ young people using non-formal education and a one-of-a-kind board game โ all while living in Sofia with flights, food, transport, and pocket money fully covered.
Climate Adaptation & Social Solidarity โ Diakonie Bavaria, Nรผrnberg, Germany
Climate change hits the most vulnerable hardest โ older people, children, people with disabilities. This placement in Nรผrnberg puts you at the intersection of climate action and social care, supporting social organisations across Germany prepare for what’s coming. Communication, events, social media, real impact.
Animation & Intercultural Exchange โ French High School, Lyon Region, France
Weekdays in a rural French school near Montluel sharing your culture with students โ weekends 15 minutes from Lyon by metro. Lead intercultural evenings, co-teach English classes, and connect monthly with a whole team of European volunteers. French and English speakers only.
Circus Trainer Assistant โ Galway Community Circus, Ireland
A year in Galway โ one of Europe’s most creative cities โ teaching circus, performing on stage, developing your own artistic project, and training new skills alongside a team of international volunteers. Circus, dance, gymnastics, or theatre background preferred.
Free Democratic Primary School โ Self-Directed Education, Pลรญbor, Czechia
A school where children direct their own learning, morning circles replace roll calls, and every voice genuinely matters. This placement puts you inside a free democratic school built on Teal principles, bringing your language and culture into an environment that reimagines education entirely.
Short Term Summer Fun Vol.5 โ Summer Camps for Disadvantaged Children, Cristuru Secuiesc, Romania
Organising summer camps for disadvantaged children in small Transylvanian villages where camp experiences simply don’t exist โ bringing joy, friendship, and personal growth to kids who need it most, as part of an international volunteer team.
Kindergarten & Primary School โ Nature-Based Learning, Rochefort, Belgian Ardennes
Working with young children in the Belgian Ardennes in a school that takes nature, creativity, and alternative pedagogy seriously โ forest walks, farm visits, artistic workshops. Shared house in Rochefort, French classes included, and a network of ESC volunteers across French-speaking Belgium.
Global Village Kids Fest III โ Children, Culture & Inclusion, Jelenia Gรณra, Poland
One month in the Polish mountains co-creating a multicultural festival for children aged 4โ15 and seniors, alongside 9 other volunteers from across Europe โ each bringing their own culture, workshops, and energy. Perfect if you love working with children and sharing who you are.
Umbรบntu Social Project โ Community Space, Permaculture & Culture, Alvorada, Brazil
Capoeira, percussion, permaculture, organic farming, and community workshops in a low-income neighbourhood near Porto Alegre. A project whose name means “I am because we are” โ real, hands-on, and transformative for everyone involved.
Environmental Education & Climate Awareness โ Humanitarian Aid, Hanoi, Vietnam
Teaching, facilitating workshops, running seminars, and raising climate awareness in Hanoi โ fully immersed in a local neighbourhood, three meals a day included, working directly with Vietnamese youth on environmental issues that matter more there than almost anywhere else on earth.
