Sports Management & Language Volunteering in Bolu β Heart of Nature πΉπ·
Are you a Spanish-speaking young person passionate about sports, youth work, and intercultural exchange? You can join a short-term European Solidarity Corps volunteering project in Bolu, TΓΌrkiye β a stunning city surrounded by forests and mountains at the heart of nature β where you will work alongside an 850-person professional sports management team, lead English and Spanish speaking clubs, support field operations, and organise monthly community events to promote the ESC programme. You will stay in the same modern, fully secured dormitory that hosts national and Olympic athletes, with three meals a day, free gym and sauna access, and professional training included. This opportunity is open exclusively to participants from Spain.
What Will You Do as a Volunteer?
π£οΈLead English and Spanish speaking clubs and provide comprehensive Spanish language training including grammar, vocabulary, and conversation practice
πPerform EnglishβSpanish translations and provide language support to the Provincial Director and the wider sports management team during field operations

Organise weekly social activities and one major monthly impact event β cultural, physical, or mental β to promote the ESC programme in the region
ποΈSupport the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports in regional and national field operations across Bolu province
β½Gain hands-on experience in sports management working alongside expert coaches, federation presidents, and a large professional public institution team
π₯Receive free training in one of 30 sports branches including boxing, football, gymnastics, and many more during your volunteering period
Accommodation, Food & Travel
π¨You will stay at the TOHM Dormitory β a modern, 24/7 secured facility that hosts national and Olympic athletes alongside ESC volunteers
π½οΈThree meals a day are provided free of charge throughout your volunteering period
ποΈFree access to the dormitory gym and sauna, as well as a cafeteria with free coffee and tea, a shared kitchen, game room, and conference room
βοΈTravel expenses are reimbursed according to the ESC distance band β volunteers purchase their own tickets and receive reimbursement upon presenting all original tickets and boarding passes
Training & Learning
ποΈUpon arrival you will receive orientation training including a city tour, introduction to the organisation, and a full tour of the facilities
πΉπ·You will participate in on-arrival training and mid-term training provided by the Turkish National Agency, giving you a broader understanding of the ESC programme and connecting you with other volunteers in TΓΌrkiye
πYou will receive expert training in language teaching and event management to help you perform your volunteering tasks professionally and confidently
Participant Profile

π£οΈProficiency in both English and Spanish is required β you will lead language clubs and perform translations between the two languages in a professional setting
β½Experience in sports, youth activities, or event organisation is a strong asset for this role
ποΈYou are comfortable working within a formal public institution environment and can adapt to professional conduct and flexible working hours
π€You are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a positive, outgoing personality suited to working closely with large professional teams including coaches and federation presidents
