What Will You Do as a Volunteer?
๐๏ธContribute to the physical rehabilitation of a former educational building, helping transform it into a safe and inclusive community space for local residents
๐ฟWork on landscaping, maintenance of green spaces, and outdoor environmental improvement activities around the community venue
๐งนSupport cleaning, construction, and maintenance tasks that contribute directly to the functional transformation of the space
๐Help create an environment that will serve as a hub for non-formal education, recreational activities, and community events long after the project ends
๐คEngage with the local community in Curtea de Argeศ and foster social interaction, inclusion, and active participation among residents
๐จContribute creatively to cultural and educational activities that support inclusive access to learning and community life
Accommodation, Food & Travel
๐๏ธYou will be accommodated in double rooms โ each volunteer has an individual bed and auxiliary furniture, with access to a shared bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and other common facilities
๐ฝ๏ธYou will receive โฌ5 per day to cover food and basic necessities, plus a full pocket money allowance of โฌ4 per day
โ๏ธTravel costs are covered according to the Erasmus+ Distance Calculator based on real travel expenses
๐Visa costs are covered up to โฌ120 if applicable
Training & Learning
๐ ๏ธDuring the first week you will receive a full orientation including training on the management and working tools used throughout the project
๐You will learn how to organise, implement, assess, share, and record your activities in a professional and structured way
๐ชYou will be trained on how to safely use tools and equipment for construction, gardening, and maintenance work relevant to the project activities
๐ฆYou will receive access to working materials and resources to support you in all your volunteering activities throughout the placement
Participant Profile
๐You are between 18 and 29 years old
๐ฃ๏ธYou have medium to good English and social communication skills
๐You are interested in working with young people โ prior experience is a plus but is not required
๐ฑYou are motivated to get involved in practical work including landscaping, construction, cleaning, and the maintenance of green spaces
๐ชYou are not afraid of physical work and are ready to get your hands dirty while making a real contribution to this community project
๐ง You are creative, adaptable, open-minded, and able to manage stress and new challenges with a positive attitude
