What Will You Do as an Intern?
πΊοΈ Map opportunities for institutional and corporate partnerships including universities, think tanks, research labs, and CSR programmes
π Conduct research to identify potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities aligned with the organisation’s mission
π Develop a strategic plan for engaging businesses and research institutions to support ReFOCUS’s objectives
βοΈ Prepare proposals, concept notes, and grant applications targeted at philanthropic funders and institutional partners
π€ Help maintain relationships with existing donors through personalised and timely communications
π Track and analyse fundraising data, preparing reports and insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness
πͺ Support the organisation and delivery of fundraising events in different locations and online
πΎ Maintain an organised and accurate database of donors for effective donor management
π Utilise LinkedIn to expand the network of potential donors, supporters, and partner organisations
Accommodation, Food & Travel
π» This is a remote working internship with the option to work from Athens if preferred
β° Working hours are part-time at 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability
βοΈ Please enquire about your Erasmus+ traineeship grant at the international office of your home university to support your costs during this placement
π This role can be accounted as an official internship β mentoring support and training related to the role and your development interests are provided

Participant Profile
π You have a genuine passion for supporting asylum seekers, refugees, and the power of education and media to create positive change
βοΈ You have experience or a strong interest in grant writing, project proposals, or fundraising communications
π You have strong research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities and donor prospects
π£οΈ You are proficient in English β knowledge of German or Polish is considered an additional asset
π‘ You are detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
π€ You are a collaborative team player comfortable working remotely or with minimal supervision
