You can join a 10-month paid English teaching internship at a private language academy in Seville, Spain, where you will be fully trained to become a confident and effective EFL teacher working with students from age 1 to adults. What Will You Do as a Trainee?
๐ฉโ๐ซ Teach English lessons to young children, teenagers, and possibly adult students in a supportive academy environment
๐ Help with course and class planning outside the classroom alongside experienced teacher coordinators
๐ค Learn and apply Jolly Phonics techniques with younger learners
๐ผ๏ธ Help create and produce classroom resources such as flashcards, posters, and other learning materials
๐ Contribute to student assessment by giving feedback and writing reports twice a year
๐ Observe classes regularly to gain insight into different teaching techniques and improve your own skills
๐ Prepare older students for official Cambridge exams and receive dedicated training on exam techniques
๐ฎ Learn how to use games, activities, and pair work to keep students engaged and having fun while learning
Accommodation, Food & Travel
๐ถ This is a paid internship โ you will receive โฌ600 per month on top of your Erasmus+ grant
โ๏ธ Please enquire about your Erasmus+ traineeship grant or national scholarship at the international office of your home university
๐ You will be based in either the Triana district of Seville or the nearby town of Espartinas, just outside the city
Training & Learning
๐ซ Full training is provided both at the beginning of the internship and continuously throughout the academic year
๐ฉโ๐ผ You will be monitored and supported frequently by teacher coordinators who will guide your professional development
๐ You will deepen your knowledge of English grammar, phonetics, and EFL teaching methodology
๐ฏ No prior teaching experience is required โ this is a teacher-in-training position with full support from day one
Participant Profile
๐ You are studying or have graduated in Education, Teacher Training, Humanities, Languages, or Philological Sciences
๐ฃ๏ธ You are a native or near-native English speaker with a strong command of English grammar and phonetics
๐ถ You enjoy working with children as young as 1 year old and are enthusiastic about supporting their learning journey
๐ A university agreement or Erasmus+ agreement is required to participate in this internship
โ๏ธ Applications are welcome from both current students and recent graduates
