🧩🇵🇹 Erasmus+ Training Course in Portugal “CORE – Communication, Mediation & Conflict Resolution in Youth Work” 🤝 Building Safer Youth Spaces 🇵🇹

🌍 “CORE” is an Erasmus+ Training Course taking place in Arcos de Valdevez, Portugal, focused on strengthening communication, mediation and conflict resolution competences in youth work.

🛠 The course develops practical skills to create safer, more cooperative and inclusive educational environments, with particular attention to rural contexts and situations where multiple barriers affect young people’s participation and well-being.

🎓 Using non-formal education methods such as experiential activities, simulations, role-plays, case clinics, reflection groups and peer learning, the programme explores inclusive communication, conflict prevention, mediation processes and restorative approaches.

💬 Participants will work on real field challenges, strengthen facilitation capacities and build a shared toolbox of methods, scripts, routines and strategies transferable to their local youth work practice.

🧠 The training also addresses emotional regulation and self-care for youth workers and supports structured reflection and recognition of learning through Youthpass.
