🎯 Aim of the Project

To empower youth workers, activists and community leaders to counter violent and divisive narratives by promoting peaceful and inclusive alternatives within their communities.

📚 Objectives & Learning Outcomes

🧠 Understand how violent and harmful narratives emerge and spread
📱 Strengthen media and digital literacy to counter disinformation and hate speech
🎨 Use storytelling, artistic expression and visual communication for peacebuilding
🗣 Apply nonviolent communication strategies in polarized contexts
🛠 Design at least 5 local initiatives promoting peace narratives
🌐 Build a European network of peacebuilders for long-term cooperation

🤝 Methodology

The training is based on non-formal education principles:

👥 Small group work and participatory sessions
🎭 Role plays and simulations
⚡ Energizers and experiential activities
📖 Collective reflection and process-based learning
🌍 Action-oriented follow-up planning

👤 Participant Profile

✔ Youth workers, trainers, educators, facilitators, activists
✔ Working in human rights education, peacebuilding or social inclusion
✔ 18–35 years old (youth workers may apply regardless of age)
✔ Resident in eligible countries
✔ Able to communicate in English
✔ Motivated to implement follow-up activities locally

💰 Costs & Reimbursement

🏠 Accommodation and meals fully covered
✈ Travel reimbursement (after submission of tickets):

🇩🇪 Germany: 285€ (green) / 200€ (non-green)
🇮🇹 Italy: 285€ (green) / 200€ (non-green)
