Project Description
Eat Wise, Live Well is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange focused on healthy lifestyles, balanced nutrition, sustainability, and community wellbeing. The project aims to encourage young people to build a positive and conscious relationship with food, health, and their bodies, while developing practical life skills and long-term healthy habits.

Through shared living, collective cooking, workshops, and experiential learning, participants will explore how daily food choices affect personal health, social wellbeing, and environmental sustainability. The project creates a supportive international community where participants empower each other to make informed, mindful, and lasting lifestyle changes.

Project Objectives
๐Ÿฅฆ Learn principles of balanced nutrition including food labels, portion sizes, and whole foods
๐ŸŒ Promote sustainable eating habits such as reducing food waste and choosing local seasonal products
๐Ÿ’ฌ Challenge harmful diet trends and body image misconceptions
๐Ÿณ Develop practical skills in budgeting, meal planning, and healthy cooking
๐Ÿค Strengthen a sense of community and mutual support for healthier lifestyles

๐ŸŒฑ Strong interest in food, health, wellbeing, and sustainability
๐Ÿค Motivated to work in an international and intercultural group
โ™ฟ 25 participants with fewer opportunities (economic, social, or financial)

Group Leader Profile
๐Ÿ‘ฅ Youth workers or youth leaders with Erasmus+ experience
๐Ÿงฉ Support participants before, during, and after the exchange
๐Ÿ“‹ Coordinate preparation meetings and practical arrangements
๐Ÿ“Š Support learning processes, evaluation, and follow-up activities
๐Ÿ”“ No age limit for group leaders

Accommodation & Food
๐Ÿ  Participants will stay in renovated houses in the village of Matour

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Participants will support the chef daily and take part in food preparation
๐Ÿฅ— Vegetarian, vegan, and allergy needs respected (to be indicated in the application form)
๐Ÿšซ Alcohol is strictly not allowed at the venue

Travel & Costs
๐Ÿ’ถ Accommodation, food, and programme costs are 100% covered by Erasmus+
