🌱 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering project takes place in Erzurum, Türkiye 🇹🇷 and is hosted by Sivil Toplum Destekleme Derneği (SİTODED). The project focuses on youth work, social inclusion, education, culture, entrepreneurship, and community-based activities through cooperation with universities and public institutions.

🎯 Volunteering Activities
Volunteers will be involved in different activity areas, working sometimes as a team and sometimes individually:

🏢 SİTODED Office Activities
📄 Supporting project preparation and partner search
🌐 Translating the organisation’s website and supporting social media activities
🗣️ Teaching volunteers’ mother tongue to Turkish young people
🎲 Planning games and workshops on entrepreneurship

🎓 Universities (Erzurum Technical University & Atatürk University)
📚 Preparing documents about youth work, Erasmus+, ESC, and Eurodesk
👥 Meeting young people and promoting European opportunities

👶 Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Policies
🎨 Preparing and implementing activities for children without family support

🏛️ Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism
📖 Participating in activities in libraries, museums, and historical sites
🎭 Organising cultural and artistic activities in cultural centres

♿ Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality
🤝 Planning and implementing activities for people with disabilities and women

🏡 Accommodation & Financial Support
🏠 Fully furnished 120 m² apartment in the centre of Erzurum
🛏️ Shared with a Turkish volunteer
🧺 Equipped with furniture, internet, washing machine, and independent heating
💶 All housing expenses covered
🍽️ Monthly food and local transportation support
💰 Pocket money: 342 EUR for 57 days

🎓 Training During the Activity
📌 Pre-departure training provided by supporting organisations
📌 On-arrival training provided by Sivil Toplum Destekleme Derneği (SİTODED)

👥 Volunteer Structure
👤 4 volunteers will be selected
🤝 Joint work in SİTODED office and university activities
🎯 Individual work in other institutional activities

👤 Participant Profile
🎂 Aged 18–30
🗣️ Able to communicate in English
🌍 Experience or interest in Sustainable Development Goals, Mental Health, or Social Entrepreneurship

📌 Field-specific expectations:
• Family & Social Policies Directorate / Metropolitan Municipality
👩‍⚕️ Psychology, sociology, child development, pre-school teaching, special education, counseling and guidance

• Culture & Tourism Directorate
🏛️ Tourism, recreation, library sciences, history, fine arts
