About the Opportunity
🌍 This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering project is hosted by Europahaus – Deutsch-Niederländische Heimvolkshochschule e. V. in Aurich, Germany 🇩🇪.
🏫 Europahaus Aurich is an adult and youth education centre offering seminars, workshops, and international youth meetings for participants aged 14 to 99, with a strong focus on environmental topics, political education, Europe, participation, and democracy.

What Will You Do?
📋 Support the planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of national and international youth seminars
🌍 Contribute to seminars on Europe, participation, ecology, xenophobia, and democratic values
👥 Assist in workshops and activities especially designed for young participants
🏫 Share information about Europe and the European Solidarity Corps in local schools
🧩 Support the Europahaus team in education, administration, and facility management
💡 Develop and implement your own personal project based on your interests
📊 Carry out general office work, research, and event-related support

Training & Learning Experience
🧠 Hands-on learning through participation in educational seminars and workshops
🇩🇪 Free German language course included
🌍 Learning-by-doing approach in international and intercultural settings
📘 Continuous mentoring and task adaptation based on your skills and interests

Who Can Apply?
👤 Aged 18–30
🌍 National of an EU Programme Country
🗣️ Good English skills and/or basic German (language course provided)
🤝 Enjoyment of working with people and in teams
💻 Basic computer skills
🚲 Interest in cycling is a plus
🌱 Open-minded, curious, and motivated for long-term engagement

🚲 Bicycles provided when needed for seminar activities
