🌟 Project Overview
Volunteers for European Cultural Exchange 3 is a European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering project coordinated by TÜRKİYE GENÇLİK VAKFI (TÜGVA) and hosted in Istanbul, Türkiye. Set in a city that bridges Europe and Asia, the project focuses on intercultural dialogue, European cultural exchange, environmental awareness, language learning, and youth participation through creative and educational activities.

🎯 Main Activities
🎨 Organise and facilitate painting and creative workshops
🌱 Deliver environmental awareness workshops
🎥 Prepare a video series about culture and European values
🗣️ Lead language workshops and social activities for children and young people
🤝 Promote intercultural understanding and European solidarity
💻 Develop skills in project management and digital content creation

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Financial Support
🏡 Fully equipped 130 m² shared apartment (3+1) in Fatih, Istanbul (2 volunteers per room)
📶 Wi-Fi, air conditioning, TV, kitchen equipment, bed linens & towels provided
🍽️ Free lunch at the TÜGVA office
💶 Monthly allowance: 330 EUR (food + pocket money)
✈️ Travel expenses covered according to Erasmus+ rules

👤 Participant Profile
✨ Young people aged 18–30 (preferably with fewer opportunities)
🎨 Background or interest in arts, culture, communication, linguistics or social sciences
🗣️ English level minimum B1
🌍 Open-minded, curious and motivated for intercultural exchange
🎥 Interest in social media and digital content creation is an asset
🤝 Willing to teach their native language and share their own culture
