🧩 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity is hosted by FUNDATIA ROMANIAN ANGEL APPEAL – APELUL INGERULUI ROMAN and takes place in Bucharest, Romania 🇷🇴.
The project is designed for creative young people who love telling stories through social media and want to show what real youth work looks like. At RAA Youth Centre, Romanian and international teenagers come together for workshops, creative sessions, community events, school activities, and Erasmus+ exchanges. Volunteers help capture these moments and share the Youth Hub’s energy with the world.

🎯 Main Activities & Responsibilities
📸 Joining daily activities to capture photos, videos, and stories
🎬 Creating short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels
🎨 Editing and colour-correcting photos
🔥 Experimenting with trends and developing fresh content ideas
💬 Supporting online community management by responding to comments and sharing stories
🗓️ Working with the communication team to plan posts and draft an editorial calendar
🎓 Taking part in trainings on video editing, storytelling, and youth-friendly communication

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Local Transport
🏡 Accommodation in a shared 3-room apartment (3 volunteers per flat) in a safe area
🍽️ 300 EUR/month food allowance
💶 120 EUR/month pocket money
✈️ International travel costs covered
🚌 Local public transport covered during the volunteering period

🎓 Training & Support During the Activity
🎥 Hands-on training from the RAA communication team on video editing, photography, and content creation
🧠 Learning modules on storytelling, youth communication, and non-formal learning
🤝 Continuous guidance and mentoring throughout the activity
🌱 Learning by doing in a supportive, multicultural environment

👤 Participant Profile
🎂 18–30 years old
📱 Strong interest in Instagram, TikTok, and digital storytelling
🎥 Enjoys filming, editing, and experimenting with trends
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Comfortable being around young people and capturing real moments
🗣️ Basic English required (additional languages are a plus)
💡 Curious, open-minded, patient, and willing to try new ideas
🎓 No previous NGO experience required — motivation and creativity matter most
