About the Call

JEF Europe (Young European Federalists) is launching a Call for Trainers for its brand-new Pool of Trainers (PoT) for the 2026–2027 mandate! 🎯
They’re looking for 20 motivated young people with experience in non-formal education, ready to facilitate, moderate, and train across Europe under the JEF Europe umbrella.

This is an exciting two-year opportunity β€” from January 2026 to December 2027 β€” to contribute to European civic education, strengthen youth participation, and promote inclusive, democratic values throughout the continent.

What You’ll Do 🧩

As a member of JEF Europe’s Pool of Trainers, you will:

  • 🧠 Support JEF Europe and its sections in deliveringΒ high-quality educational activities.
  • 🌍 ImplementΒ capacity-building sessionsΒ for local, regional, and national JEF structures.
  • πŸ’¬ DevelopΒ modules and non-formal learning methodsΒ for European civic education.
  • 🀝 Represent JEF Europe’s training expertise across networks and partner organisations.

Trainer Profiles πŸ‘₯

You can apply as either a Senior Trainer or a Junior Trainer:

Senior Trainer Profile:

  • Extensive experience in facilitation and moderation.
  • Proven record as a trainer or coordinator of training teams.
  • Competence in advocacy, youth participation, and institutional cooperation.
  • Ability to organise and deliver training in cooperation with JEF Europe sections.

Junior Trainer Profile:

  • Some experience in facilitation and moderation (training experience desirable).
  • Member of a JEF section or interested in JEF’s work.
  • Motivation to co-organise training activities alongside senior trainers.
  • Eagerness to develop non-formal learning competences.

Expertise Areas 🧭

Trainers should bring knowledge and experience in at least one of the following:

  • Campaigns & election processes
  • Youth participation & activism
  • Intersectionality & anti-discrimination
  • Diversity & inclusion (LGBTQI+, disability, ethnic/racial groups, minorities)
  • NGO or volunteer management
  • Teamwork in multicultural settings

Benefits & Remuneration πŸ’Ά

  • πŸ’ΌΒ Duration:Β January 2026 – December 2027
  • πŸ’°Β Daily fee:
    • €60/day (Junior Trainer, VAT included)
    • €100/day (Senior Trainer, VAT included)
  • Compensation per activity includes preparation and reporting days.
  • Opportunities to facilitateΒ both online and in-personΒ JEF Europe events.
