🎶 About the Project
Do you speak the language of rhythm? 🪘 Arts Lab 7.0 is a unique long-term artistic residency looking for a percussionist (especially djembe/hand drums) to join an international team of creatives in Romania! Together, you’ll co-create with local youth, conduct drumming workshops, and contribute to a living museum experience shaped by community and culture.

🏡 Accommodation & Living

• Stay at the ACT House Youth Centre (see it in 3D)
• Pocket money: €4/day
• Food allowance: €150/month
• Travel costs reimbursed (based on lump sum)
• Shared double/triple rooms with other artists

📚 Training Provided

• Romanian language course
• Workshops on crafts, facilitation & non-formal education
• Two official trainings by Romanian NA
• Mentorship from former volunteers
• Part of the growing Arts Lab alumni family (2028 conference planned!)

🎯 What You’ll Do

• Conduct creative drumming & rhythm workshops
• Create participatory performances
• Develop a portfolio and explore personal artistry
• Collaborate in building interactive museums with youth
• Gain lifelong skills in facilitation, intercultural dialogue & creativity

👤 Who Can Apply?

• Aged 18–30
• Percussionist or drummer (djembe, hand drums, experimental rhythms)
• Creative, resilient, willing to live in a rural town & share space
• Able to stay the full 7 months
• Portfolio strongly encouraged!
