Wildlife Assistant Tasks
๐ฉบ Animal Care: Feeding, weighing, and monitoring various birds and mammals following strict medical protocols.
๐งผ Sanitation & Hygiene: Maintaining a clean environment by cleaning cages, dishes, laundry, and mopping floors to prevent infections.
๐ฉน Advanced Procedures: Learning specialized techniques such as tube-feeding animals and cleaning oiled wildlife.
๐ Administrative Discipline: Keeping accurate records of animal progress and assisting senior staff with daily coordination.
Training & Learning
๐ Mentorship: Initial “step-by-step” guidance from experienced senior volunteers and professional staff.
๐ Specialized Formations: Attending seminars on orphaned wildlife, oiled wildlife rehabilitation, and emergency response.

Accommodation & Financial Coverage
๐ Co-Housing: Shared house with other ESC volunteers (kitchen, living room, and bathroom are shared).
๐ฐ Monthly Support: โฌ450.00 per month (total amount covering food and pocket money).
๐ฒ Transport: A bicycle is provided for daily commutes and city exploration. Travel to/from Belgium is reimbursed via ESC bands.
