Do you love working with children, sharing your culture, and creating meaningful intercultural experiences? Global Village Kids Fest III is an ESC volunteering team project based in Jelenia Gรณra, Poland โ€” a one-month opportunity for 10 volunteers from 10 different countries to co-create and run a multicultural festival for children aged 4โ€“15 and seniors. You will design and lead your own workshop, participate in international culture days, and work alongside a diverse international team in an inclusive, outdoor-friendly environment. Applications open to participants who do not require a visa for Poland. Deadline: 10 May 2026.
๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ Did You Know? Jelenia Gรณra โ€” where this volunteering project takes place โ€” sits at the foot of the Karkonosze Mountains in southwestern Poland, one of the most scenic highland regions in Central Europe. The area is famous for its dramatic mountain landscapes, historic spa towns, and centuries-old glassmaking tradition. It’s an inspiring backdrop for a summer of creative work with children.

What Will You Do?

๐ŸŽจDesign and lead your own workshop or creative activity rooted in your home country’s culture โ€” it can be a dance, song, game, craft, storytelling session, or any activity that represents where you come from
๐Ÿ‘งRun daily workshop sessions for children aged 4โ€“7, 8โ€“15, and seniors โ€” each session lasts 1.5 hours, with volunteers working in pairs at one of five activity stations, serving groups of 20โ€“25 children divided into teams
๐ŸŒTake part in International Days โ€” presenting your country’s culture, traditions, and identity to festival participants and the local community
๐ŸคParticipate in team-building activities at the start of the project and collaborate with your international team to co-create the detailed festival programme
๐Ÿ•๏ธSupport mixed-ability mountain trips, outdoor activities, summer camps, and art-based workshops as part of the wider programme
๐ŸŽฌBefore arrival, record a short video introducing yourself and describing your workshop idea, and share it via Google Drive with the project coordinator
๐Ÿ’ก Did You Know? ESC Volunteering Teams projects are specifically designed to bring together volunteers from multiple countries to work on a shared activity โ€” unlike individual ESC placements.
