What Will You Do as a Trainee?
π’ Handle general office work in German and English, including telephone, email, and postal correspondence
πͺ Support event management including preparation, logistics, and on-the-day assistance
βοΈ Assist with proofreading, translation, and preparation of documents related to student exchange programmes
π Provide basic student advice and guest assistance and support to international visitors
π» Update online databases and manage homepage content via CMS
π Handle document filing including applications and library management
π Conduct internet research tasks as required by the team
Accommodation, Food & Travel
πΆ BOKU will provide a financial contribution of β¬300 per month throughout your traineeship
π£οΈ Free language classes are available in the office for all trainees who wish to participate
βοΈ Please enquire about an Erasmus+ traineeship grant or national scholarship at the international office of your home university to support your travel and living costs
Training & Learning
π You will work within BOKU International Relations, the service department for international affairs at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna
π©πͺ The working language of the office is German β this is an excellent opportunity to enhance your German language skills in a professional setting
π You will gain practical experience in international student exchange administration, event management, and intercultural communication
Participant Profile
π You are studying or have a background in Business Studies, Management Science, Humanities, or Social Sciences
π©πͺ You have a good level of German and are motivated to use and improve it in a professional context
πΌ You are organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable with general office tasks
π€ You are friendly, service-oriented, and enjoy working with people from diverse international backgrounds
π A CV and a motivation letter stating your preferred start and end dates are required to apply
