Intro
A short-term European Solidarity Corps volunteering opportunity is open in North Macedonia for young people from Portugal who want to gain international experience in youth work, communication, and community engagement. This project offers a flexible 2–3 month experience in Skopje, focused on promoting European programmes, creativity, and youth participation.

Project Overview
Volunteers will be involved in a range of youth-oriented and communication-focused activities, depending on their interests and profiles.
🤝 Participation in local events and promotion of ESC and Erasmus+ programmes
🎤 Support in thematic workshops and youth activities
📱 Creation of content for social media channels
📝 Content creation for the “VOICES” magazine
🎙️ Contribution to the “VOICES to Hear” podcast
🌍 Teamwork in an international and intercultural environment

Activity Dates
Flexible placements of 2–3 months
Within the period: 01 January 2026 – 31 December 2026
Total duration: up to 10 weeks

What Is Covered
🏠 Shared accommodation near the host organisation

Who Can Apply
👤 Aged between 18–30
🇵🇹 Portuguese residents from: Oliveira de Azeméis, São João da Madeira, Vale de Cambra, Arouca, Sever do Vouga or Castelo de Paiva
💡 Genuinely motivated for international volunteering
📅 Available for 2–3 months
👫 Two volunteers may apply together
🗣️ Basic English communication skills are sufficient
🎓 No previous experience required

The activity takes place in Skopje, a vibrant Balkan capital with a strong youth sector, cultural life, and international atmosphere.
