Become part of Roter Baum Berlin UG’s international team and contribute to youth development, creativity, and intercultural dialogue!
Based in Berlin, the Zentrale – Youth and International Office designs and implements international projects within the Erasmus+ framework, promoting non-formal education, inclusion, and cultural exchange.

As a volunteer, you’ll gain first-hand experience in youth work, project design, communication, and creative dissemination — all while living in one of Europe’s most vibrant and multicultural cities! ✨

🎯 Main Activities

💬 Support international and local youth projects under Erasmus+
🧩 Assist in project cycle management: planning, logistics, and reporting
🎨 Create communication materials (social media posts, flyers, posters, videos)
🧠 Help develop and facilitate workshops and educational sessions
🌍 Contribute to intercultural exchanges and local youth events
🤝 Join the team in representing European youth values in daily work

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Allowances

🏡 Fully furnished apartment close to the office (private bedroom + shared kitchen & living spaces)
🚆 Monthly public transport ticket for Berlin included
🚴 Optional bike use for daily commuting
💶 Around €500/month total allowance (covers food, transport, and pocket money)
🍲 Kitchen available at the office for meals during working hours

🎓 Training & Support

🗣️ Access to the Online Linguistic Support (OLS) platform to learn German
🏫 Two optional language school courses during the year
🤝 Participation in On-arrival and Mid-term seminars organised by the German National Agency
🌱 Continuous mentoring and personal guidance from project staff
💼 Regular meetings with the international team and other ESC volunteers

👤 Participant Profile

We are looking for a proactive and creative volunteer who is:
🌍 Interested in Erasmus+ projects, youth work, and international cooperation
💡 Skilled or curious about design, social media, or arts & crafts
🧠 Motivated to learn about project management and non-formal education
🤝 Able to work independently and in a team
💬 Good English is required; basic German is an advantage
