Get ready to make waves of positive change with Shock Waves — an exciting Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Peniche, Portugal! 🌊🇵🇹

This project is all about inclusive community action, where creativity, collaboration, and youth energy come together to make a real difference. Participants will learn how to organize inclusive local events, promote social participation, and advocate for equal opportunities for everyone.

Through non-formal education methods like workshops, reflections, debates, and creative activities, you’ll explore how to transform your community into a more open, vibrant, and inclusive space. You’ll gain practical skills in event management, teamwork, and communication — all while connecting with new friends from across Europe. 🌍💫

🏖️ Location & Venue

The exchange takes place in Peniche, a charming coastal town in Portugal famous for its beaches and surf culture. 🌅
Participants will stay at Peniche Surf Camp, located just a few meters from the sea — the perfect blend of comfort, culture, and creativity!

Accommodation details:

• Shared rooms (4–5 people, organized by gender) 🏡
• Fully equipped kitchen and group activity spaces
• Balconies for relaxing and connecting with other participants
• Optional surf lessons available during free time 🏄

👩‍🏫 Participant Profile

We’re looking for active and curious young people aged 18–25 from the participating countries who want to engage in community work, inclusion, and event planning.

Ideal participants are:
✅ Citizens or residents of Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, or Slovakia 🇵🇹🇷🇴🇭🇺🇨🇿🇸🇰
✅ Open-minded, creative, and enthusiastic about inclusion
✅ Eager to learn through non-formal education
✅ Ready to participate fully and contribute actively
✅ Motivated to share what they’ve learned with their peers after the project

Applicants from geographically or economically disadvantaged backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
