🌟 Project Description
Irida Women’s Center is a safe space for over 500 women from 50+ countries, offering psychosocial support, legal counseling, and protection services. As a volunteer, you will:
🔹 Provide French–English interpretation (in-person, online, or by phone)
🔹 Translate documents and support the French WhatsApp hotline
🔹 Escort beneficiaries to local services when needed
🔹 Facilitate creative activities (art, crafts, dance, knitting, painting)
🔹 Act as a focal point for community-led sessions
🔹 Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth delivery of services
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport
🏠 Shared volunteer residence in central Thessaloniki (rooms with 1–3 other volunteers of same gender)
🍴 Weekday catering + weekend food allowance
🚍 City bus & metro transport card included
🎯 Participant Profile
We are looking for female volunteers (18–30) who are:
✔️ Fluent in French & English (native-level French preferred)
✔️ Confident in facilitating workshops & creative sessions
✔️ Comfortable working with women from diverse backgrounds
✔️ Strong communicators with cultural sensitivity & empathy
✔️ Skilled in using digital tools (Google Suite, WhatsApp, MS Office)
👉 Extra language skills (Greek, Arabic, Farsi, Russian, Ukrainian) are a plus!
