📖 Project Description

This training course is designed to prepare youth mentors who can provide systematic, individual support to young people with fewer opportunities. It is based on the Youth Mentoring Network – a social service supporting over 200 young people annually in Latvia.

Over 8 intensive days, participants will explore practical mentoring tools and approaches applied in 6 municipalities across Latvia, developing strong skills to guide and empower young people.

2️⃣ Screening & recognizing red flags

3️⃣ Social skills & relationships

4️⃣ Daily life skills, discipline & micro-routines

5️⃣ Sexual orientation & gender identity

6️⃣ Emotional intelligence

7️⃣ Addictions, anxiety & depression

8️⃣ Burnout prevention

9️⃣ Values & ethics in mentoring

💡 This training will combine non-formal education, real-life case studies, and mentoring simulations, enabling youth workers to strengthen both their professional skills and personal resilience.
