📢 DESCRIPTION
Join Kindergarten Sprachkiste Jena as part of the Ambassadors for Europe ESC programme! From 01/09/2025 to 31/08/2026, 10–13 volunteers will work in Jena’s innovative Montessori-inspired Kindergarten, supporting multilingual education, MINT (STEM) learning, sustainability projects, and intercultural inclusion. 🌱🔤🔬
📋 What You’ll Do
- 🗣️ Multilingual Support: Assist educators in German, English, and children’s home languages
- 🔬 MINT Activities: Lead hands-on science and nature experiments
- 🎨 Creative & Cultural Projects: Organize art, drama, music, and environmental workshops
- 🌳 Sustainability & Ecology: Help maintain the kindergarten’s eco-garden and teach recycling practices
- 🤝 Volunteer Integration: Collaborate with 10 hosting organisations across Jena
🏠 ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRANSPORT
- 🛏️ Shared flats: Your own room, shared kitchen & bathroom
- 💶 Pocket Money: €533/month
- 🚲 Bike + Deutschlandticket for all regional trains in Germany
- ✈️ Travel reimbursed per ESC rules
🎓 TRAINING & SUPPORT
- 🏠 Orientation Month: Get to know Jena and local life
- 🌐 Intercultural Workshops: 3 full-day training sessions in Jena
- 📑 Erasmus+ Seminars: 2 external trainings (5–7 days)
- 📜 Youthpass Certificate upon completion
