🇷🇴 Dive into Democracy 4: ESC Volunteering in Romania! 🗳️✨Erasmus+ European Solidarity Corps – Training Course for Youth Workers

📢 DESCRIPTION
Democracy 4 is a 9-month ESC project (273 days) based in Ilfov County, Bucharest, Romania. From 01 September 2025 to 31 May 2026, six volunteers (1 local + 5 from Europe) will empower youth with active citizenship skills and democratic engagement tools! 🏛️🌱

🔍 What You’ll Do

• 🎯 Youth Empowerment: Co-design workshops on media literacy, group communication, and stage presence
• 🤝 School Collaboration: Work with high-school teachers and students in non-formal sessions
• 📝 Project Coordination: Set weekly objectives in Monday strategy meetings
• 🌍 Community Outreach: Promote EU values and the role of European institutions

🏠 ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRANSPORT

• 🛏️ Stay in a student dormitory in Ilfov County: 2-bed rooms, shared kitchen & corridor bathrooms
• 🧳 Monthly €300 for all costs (food, personal)
• 🚆 Travel reimbursed per Erasmus+ rules; local transport arranged

🎓 TRAINING & SUPPORT

• 🏫 Morning Sessions (Tue–Fri, 09:30–12:30): Hands-on youth activities
• 📚 Afternoon Sessions (14:00–16:00): Thematic courses on media, communication, confidence
• 🤝 On-arrival & mid-term evaluations with SALT staff

👤 PARTICIPANT PROFILE

• Aged 18–25
• Passionate about citizenship, democracy, and youth engagement
• Ready to live in a semi-rural setting and engage in team life
