🧒👦 ABOUT THE PROJECT

Join the YMCA Esslingen (CVJM Esslingen e.V.), a Christian youth-focused NGO with a dynamic and inclusive environment that runs two youth centers. You’ll get hands-on experience supporting children and teenagers with after-school activities and community events.

🎯 Main Volunteer Tasks

• 🎲 Assist with kids’ play stations, sports, and creative workshops
• 🛠 Help prepare and tidy rooms, set up events
• ✍️ Participate in youth programs and local festivals
• 🗂️ Support basic administrative tasks
• 🎨 Contribute your own creative ideas for educational and fun activities

🏡 ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRAVEL

• 🏠 Accommodation: A room in a shared flat
• 🚍 Transport: Partial contribution for a Germany-wide year pass
• 💰 Monthly allowance + food money based on ESC rules

🧑‍🏫 TRAINING PROVIDED

• 2 ✨ National seminars (On-arrival & Mid-term)
• 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 In-house training for tasks and team integration
• 💬 Language immersion and opportunities to grow personally and professionally

👤 WHO CAN APPLY?

• 🧑 Ages 18–30
• 🇪🇺 From an EU country (including #Austria 🇦🇹, #Portugal 🇵🇹, #Italy 🇮🇹, #France 🇫🇷, #Spain 🇪🇸, #Romania 🇷🇴 and others)
• 🇩🇪 Basic German skills are a strong advantage
• ✨ You’re curious, creative, love working with young people, and want to gain youth work experience
