Youth Works Hub has 11 fully funded ESC volunteering projects open in Germany, Romania, France, Ecuador and six more countries, with deadlines running from as soon as possible to 30 November 2026. The work ranges from social care in Munich and school support in Reศiศa to tree planting in Carcassonne, farming in Toacaso, environmental education in Hanoi, carols in Hajnรณwka and monitoring and evaluation in Dar es Salaam. Seven of the 11 projects are open as soon as possible and the other four close between 30 October and 30 November 2026. Our guide to what the European Solidarity Corps is explains how the programme works.
The profiles asked for differ from project to project. Seven of the calls are for young people aged 18-30 and four are for young people aged 18-35: the farming project in Toacaso, the environmental education project in Hanoi, the community and cultural space in Alvorada and the school support project in Quito. Some of them name skills that would be ideal rather than compulsory: nursing graduates or final-year nursing students are preferred in Munich, facilitation or photo and video skills are ideal in Hanoi, and photography, social media and event skills are appreciated at the castle in Neumarkt, while the Toacaso project suits volunteers in good physical condition. Our guide to what makes an ideal ESC volunteer looks at what organisations are really after.
The country lists are not the same either. Three projects take applicants from a single country: the Munich placement is open to residents of Tรผrkiye, the Carcassonne team to residents of France and the Athens culture lab to residents of Germany. The other eight projects list between 27 and 41 eligible countries, and the castle in Neumarkt has the widest list. Our overview of eligible countries for Erasmus+ and ESC explains the general country rules.
Each project has its own angle:
๐ฉ๐ช Germany: a 52-week placement in residential and support centres in Munich, accompanying residents in daily life, leisure activities and community events.
