Youth Works Hub has 23 fully funded ESC volunteering placements open in Germany, Poland, Spain and eight more countries, with deadlines from 22 October to 30 November 2026 and two calls open as soon as possible. The work ranges from primary school and kindergarten support to dance, photography, music, media labs, public libraries, refugee integration, digital communication and grant writing, all for young people up to 30. Eight of the 23 placements are in Germany, seven of them in Leipzig. Our guide to what the European Solidarity Corps is explains how the programme works.
The profiles asked for differ from call to call. Most of the calls are for young people aged 18-30, and three of them say no previous experience is required: the photography project in Lฤbork needs no previous experience, the content creation placement in รvora asks for none either, and the grant writing placement in Lusaka provides training in grant searching and proposal writing instead. Others name things that would be ideal rather than compulsory, such as playing an instrument, skills in media, graphic design, textiles or ceramics, an interest in non-formal media education, or studies or experience in social work or psychology. The country lists differ a lot from call to call. The seven Leipzig calls are each open to applicants from 68 countries, the Romanian call in Mฤrฤศeศti from 46 and the Zambian call from 37, while the team activity in Rabka-Zdrรณj and Krakรณw lists four countries: France, Italy, Poland and Spain. Each call has its own angle:

European Solidarity Corps volunteering is fully funded: flight, accommodation, food, pocket money and insurance are covered. According to Youth Works Hub's review, nine of the 23 placements close on 8 November 2026, two are open as soon as possible and the last one closes on 30 November 2026.

Work with children and teenagers runs through the primary school in Vught, the Madrid and Bilbao projects, the Milan youth center, the boarding school in Salins-les-Bains, the Leipzig kindergartens, the shelter in Menfi and the Dortmund placement, while arts and culture carry the dance residency in Tรขrgu Frumos, the Leipzig public library, the children and youth culture workshop, the media lab, the sociocultural centre and the Gdynia library. Communication and digital content shape the Lฤbork photography project, the รvora placement and the Sofia youth platform, and civic and international work sits with the Leipzig European education team, the Leipzig culture workshop, the refugee integration activities in Rabka-Zdrรณj and Krakรณw, the community work in Mฤrฤศeศti, the English immersion camp in Siirt and the grant writing in Lusaka.
