🇫🇷 ESC Volunteering in France 🏫 Intercultural Youth Work at a Rural Boarding School 🌍

Description

Join the MFR of Salins-les-Bains, a non-profit rural school in the Jura (about 100 students, 11 staff), part of the French MFR network based on work-study training. Most students live in our boarding school.

As an international volunteer, you will:

- support the evening animator in activities for boarders: international cooking workshops, sports tournaments, science experiments, cultural evenings, outings;

- assist instructors in class and on school trips, especially in foreign languages and intercultural topics;

- propose activities about your country and culture;

- take part in the associative life of the MFR (Christmas market, concerts, events) and in contacts with families and partners.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 1:30-10 PM, Friday 1:30-3:45 PM. Weekends and part of school holidays are free.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will be welcomed at the station/airport and travel costs are reimbursed according to ESC rules. Insurance through the ESC plan (Henner).
