Deadline

25 Oct

"My Career = My Future" is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Bakuriani, a ski resort in Georgia, from 6 to 13 December 2026 (including travel days). It brings together 24 young people for non-formal education and aims to give young leaders the tools and knowledge to plan their careers thoughtfully through self-discovery and motivation-building. Applications close on 25 October 2026. At Youth Works Hub, we reviewed the infopack and the live application form so you know exactly what you are signing up for.

The project is hosted by the Georgian youth organisation Umbrella. According to the project text, the 24 participants come from Spain, Germany, Georgia and Armenia, while the application call is shown for participants from Armenia, Germany and Spain.

Why a Career Exchange in the Mountains

The exchange combines self-evaluation, motivation and practical digital skills with intercultural learning. Participants assess their own skills, build clear and actionable career development plans, learn how to keep their focus and finish with videos that share what they learned.

Our guide on whether Erasmus+ helps your career looks at what EU studies found about the link between Erasmus+ projects and careers.

The Four Objectives

๐Ÿงญ Equip 24 participants with self-evaluation tools to assess their skills and build clear, actionable career development plans.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Provide the 24 participants with 5 proven strategies to maintain focus and sustain motivation toward their career goals.

๐Ÿ’ป Train participants on 4 digital tools to boost employability and have them co-create 4 educational videos to share these practices.

๐ŸŒ Foster intercultural dialogue and tolerance while actively promoting core European values and Erasmus+ opportunities across communities.

Who Can Apply

The infopack describes the profile of participants:

๐Ÿ  Be a resident of the country of one of the partnering organisations. The call is shown for participants from Armenia, Germany and Spain.

๐ŸŒฑ Young people with fewer opportunities are welcomed.

๐ŸŽ‚ Aged 18 or older.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Able to communicate independently in English.

๐Ÿ“š Having a background working with youth and experience in inclusion and diversity, or an interest to explore more about the topic.

๐Ÿ•˜ Motivated and able to take part in the full duration of the activity, and ready to share previous experience, including being involved in the local activity in your home country after the exchange.

โš–๏ธ The organisers highly recommend keeping the gender balance.

๐Ÿ†• Newcomers in Erasmus+ are welcomed. A balanced group in terms of age, gender, background and experience is recommended.

What Participants Commit To

The organisers ask for people who are willing to take part in all phases of the project: preparation, mobility and follow-up. Participants also use low-budget travel options: no paid seats, entertainment or additional luggage.

After the exchange, each country group presents a one-hour workshop, based on what it learned in the project, to at least 10 local young people. The group also provides an activity report with 3 photos and a description.

What the Partner Organisations Do

Each partner organisation has five tasks:

๐ŸŽฏ Select 6 participants from its country within the given deadlines.

โœˆ๏ธ Support participants in finding and booking the travel tickets.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Disseminate the project and its results, with at least one post on its website or social media about the preparatory visit and one photo post about the youth exchange. The project manager provides the details.

๐Ÿค Support its group in conducting one local follow-up activity with at least 10 local young people for a one-hour workshop learned on the project, and provide the activity report (3 photos and a description).

๐Ÿ“ฉ Stay in touch with the project manager and update them on the progress of the project.

The project takes place in Bakuriani, a ski resort in Georgia. Participants are accommodated in 2 or 3-person rooms with all basic facilities. A hair dryer, shampoo and soap and a washing machine (1 kg: 30 GEL) are provided. The infopack links to the Facebook page of Grand Noel Bakuriani for more information about the venue.

For a fuller checklist, see our Erasmus+ preparation guide.

How to Reach Bakuriani

The nearest international airports are Kutaisi International Airport (KUT) and Tbilisi International Airport (TBS). For each of them, the organisers send a separate guide with a detailed description once the group leader is selected and introduced.

Travel, Costs and Reimbursement

According to Youth Works Hub's review of the infopack, all expenses (accommodation and travel tickets and costs) are covered by the project, based on sufficient receipts, tickets, boarding passes and invoices. Our guide to what Erasmus+ covers breaks down these costs.

The reimbursement is made after the project, within three months, by bank transfer.

๐Ÿ“Œ Cheapest tickets: participants must purchase the cheapest travel tickets within the given travel options during the activity period.

โœ… Approval first: no tickets should be purchased without approval from the project manager. The organiser provides the ticket options once the group is selected.

๐Ÿงพ Proof is essential: without sufficient proof of travel expenses and boarding passes, no reimbursement can be made.

๐Ÿ’ถ Buy in euros: the organisers recommend purchasing flight tickets in euros. The price of tickets in other currencies is calculated according to the InforEuro calculator, the official converter of the European Commission, which uses a different exchange rate and could cause money loss compared to tickets purchased in euros.

The Partner Organisations

The project partners are:

๐Ÿ”๏ธ Umbrella (Georgia): the Georgian youth organisation that hosts the project.

๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช JEF BB (Germany): the website of JEF Berlin-Brandenburg describes it as a non-profit, independent and cross-party youth association committed to a federal Europe in peace, diversity and solidarity. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฒ Yeghvard NGO (Armenia).
