💡 Project Overview

Join Irida Women’s Center, a Greek non-profit dedicated to supporting refugee, migrant, and local women who are among the most vulnerable. Volunteers will help women gain language, digital, and life skills while providing a safe and empowering environment.

Main Activities:

📚 Teaching English & digital literacy to adult women
🎭 Leading workshops in arts, cooking, crafts, and sports
🤝 Providing support in community-building activities
📝 Helping with lesson planning & student progress tracking

📍 Where? Thessaloniki, Greece’s vibrant cultural and historical hub 🇬🇷

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Travel Support

✔ Accommodation: Volunteers will stay in a fully equipped shared residence in Thessaloniki’s city center 🏡
✔ Food: Catering service provided Monday–Friday 🍽️
✔ Transport: City bus transport card available 🚌

🎯 Who Can Apply?

🔹 Female applicants only (for project-related reasons)
🔹 Aged 18-30
🔹 Fluent in English (C1 level required, native speakers preferred)
🔹 Basic proficiency in digital tools (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.)
🔹 Comfortable working in multicultural environments
🔹 Previous experience in teaching or working with vulnerable groups is a plus
🔹 Additional language skills (Greek, Ukrainian, Russian, Arabic, Farsi, French) are welcomed

🚫 No prior volunteering experience required – just motivation & a passion for empowering women!
